Disney Plus gave us fresh glimpses into the first three episodes of The Worst of Evil.
The Worst of Evil is a crime action drama about police officer Joon Mo and his undercover mission to dismantle a big drug ring operating in Gangnam, the key hub for drug trade between Korea, China, and Japan in the 1990s.
Joon Mo (Ji Chang Wook) grabs the viewers’ attention as he goes undercover to dismantle the drug ring. He makes the daring choice to launch this risky operation, seeking the success and recognition that have eluded him throughout his life as a countryside detective. The newly released images spark curiosity about the upcoming storyline, offering a sneak peek of Joon Mo as he confronts the syndicate’s boss and delves deeper into the case’s intricacies.
Gi Chul (Wi Ha Jun), the leader of the Gangnam drug ring, is a character driven by the relentless pursuit of power and wealth, motivated by a painful past. The new pictures depict him seemingly reasserting his determination, particularly in the tense face-off he has with Joon Mo when he finds him in his Gangnam office.
Meanwhile, Eui Jung (Lim Se Mi) reveals her diverse qualities, from being the loving wife of Joon Mo to an elite police officer investigating a drug case involving the syndicate.
The Worst of Evil will drop on September 27th.
