TVING has released a video that features its finalized cast for its upcoming drama titled Death’s Game.
Set to premiere in December, Death’s Game is a fantasy drama about a man named Choi Yi Jae whose life is about to end. The story begins as he experiences 12 cycles of life and death right before going to hell.
Seo In Guk portrays a man named Choi Yi Jae who loses hope after failing to get a job. He is an unfortunate character who experiences all the disadvantages and frustrations of being born into poverty. Even in death, he faces a cruel punishment of enduring relentless cycles of life and death.
Park So Dam takes on the role of Death, who sentences Yi Jae to 12 cycles of life and death. She is a mysterious being whose age and abilities remain unknown. Nobody knows whether she is God or Evil.
Meanwhile, the star-studded cast of the drama also includes Kim Ji Hoon, Super Junior’s Choi Siwon, Sung Hoon, Jang Seung Jo, Kim Kang Hoon, Lee Jae Wook, Lee Do Hyun, Go Youn Jung, Kim Jae Wook, and Oh Jung Se.
The production team shared, “We hope that viewers will find comfort in witnessing Yi Jae’s repeated battles in life and death for the twelfth time. You will have fun watching various characters with their own stories through different genres including action, noir, romance, thriller, and human drama. Stay tuned to see.”
Death’s Game is based on a popular Naver webtoon of the same name and is directed by Ha Byung Hoon of Confession Couple and 18 Again.
