Lee Do Hyun is preparing to fulfill his military obligations.
On August 3rd, the actor’s agency Yuehua Entertainment Korea announced that “Lee Do Hyun will begin his basic military training on August 14th and plans to serve in the Air Force Band thereafter.”
There won’t be any public ceremonies on the day of his enlistment. The agency added, “It’ll be a private occasion attended by numerous military personnel and family members. Given the private nature of the event, we kindly ask fans to refrain from visiting.”
They continued, “Lee Do Hyun is committed to diligently fulfilling his military duties and will return in good health. We appreciate your warm support and encouragement during this time.”
Lee Do Hyun has had a successful first half of 2023, captivating audiences with his role as Ju Ye Jeong in Netflix’s The Glory. He continued to impress with his stellar performance in JTBC’s The Good Bad Mother, portraying a prosecutor who ends up with the mind of a child after a tragic accident.
Before heading off to the military, his final schedule includes a fan meeting on August 5th.
Meanwhile, Lee Do Hyun is currently dating Lim Ji Yeon, his co-star in The Glory.
