On July 24th, the superstar took to Instagram and wrote, “Thanks for having my outfit in Barbie The Movie! You rocked it, Ken,” accompanied by an exciting video.
In the video, Jimin expresses his gratitude to Ryan Gosling, saying, “Hi Ryan and hi Ken, it’s Jimin. Congrats on your big release. My fans are excited to see your video so thank you so much. Thank you for this guitar. I really love it and I look forward to watching Barbie.”

Earlier on, Ryan Gosling, who stars as Ken in the movie Barbie, left a surprise message via a video posted on Barbie’s official Twitter. He expressed, “I noticed that your Permission to Dance outfit was the same as my Ken outfit in the upcoming movie Barbie. I have to give it to you, you wore it first. You definitely wore it best. And there’s an unspoken Ken code that if you bite another Ken’s style, you have to give them your most prized possession. So, I hope you’ll accept Ken’s guitar as my humble offering. Besides, Ken doesn’t really play anyways so it’ll be much better in your hands.”
It appears that Ken’s guitar was delivered to Jimin right after he left him the message. The exchange between them holds even sweeter significance beyond two talented individuals acknowledging each other’s style.
