On July 20th, BTS’ Jungkook wowed the audience with his solo performance of “Seven” and special covers on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge. This marked his first-ever solo appearance in two years, following his group’s debut on the show in 2021.

The host introduced Jungkook as a global pop star, and he couldn’t contain his excitement to be back on the show as a solo artist. The audience was completely melted by his latest single “Seven” and his heartfelt cover of “Let There Be Love” by the British rock band Oasis.

The superstar sat down for an interview and exclaimed, “I was really looking forward to coming back with good music, and now I’m finally back!” His excitement about his recent comeback was palpable. When asked about his memories in England, he replied, “This is my first visit here after our concert at Wembley Stadium. Although I had great memories back then, right now feels like the best moment for me,” which drew enthusiastic responses from the audience.

Lastly, Jungkook showed his heartfelt gratitude and love to his fans and shared some updates on what BTS has been up to lately. “All our members are continuously growing and showing their unique colors through individual activities. I truly believe that our current experiences will contribute to creating a powerful synergy when we reunite as a group in the future. I can’t wait for that to happen soon,” he expressed with anticipation.
