Junho and YoonA’s ‘King the Land’ Ranks 2nd in Netflix’s Global Top 10 List

King the Land starring Junho and YoonA became the second most-watched non-English series on Netflix.

 

According to Netflix’s data, JTBC’s King the Land quickly claimed the No.2 spot on the list, accumulating 17.5 million viewing hours as of June 28th. The series has entered the Top 10 list in 36 countries, including Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Australia, Greece, and Portugal.

This sixteen-part series is currently attracting attention after achieving the second position with only four episodes aired. It has also experienced an increase in viewership, rising from a promising 5.1 percent rating for its premiere episode to 7.5 percent for the second episode, and soaring to 9.1 percent for the third, generating positive word-of-mouth. With the latest episode achieving a rating of 9.6 percent, the drama is on the verge of reaching a double-digit rating of 10 percent.
