In an interview, he was asked whether he would return as a villain in Sweet Home Season 2. He answered, “There is a scene in the finale where Jung Wooi Myung’s (played by Kim Sung Cheol) essence flows into the body of Pyeon Sang Wook (Lee Jin Wook). Whether I am the villain or not is not as important in this drama as the focus lies on the intricate emotions and interactions of various people living in the post-apocalyptic world.”

When asked if he had anticipated the success of the rookie actors he worked with during the filming of Sweet Home Season 1, Lee Jin Wook responded, “I trusted Director Lee Eung Bok. He is not an ordinary person. If he takes a group of rookies to film something, it means they are not just rookies. The junior actors performed well. They were different from rookies during our time.”

When asked about his plans to star in a classic melodrama, Lee Jin Wook expressed his desire, saying, “I really want to do it. However, I’ve heard that classic romance works are not frequently produced these days due to their declining popularity. When I was young, I didn’t really know what love was, but now, at this stage of my life, I feel like I have a better understanding of it. While I can’t say I fully understand it even now, I think I have a grasp on it.”
