Kim Sae Ron was spotted working part-time at a cafe in Gangnam on April 6th, just a day after her first trial.
When asked about her employment, she stated that she has been working there for over a year.
In early March, the actress posted photos on Instagram of herself working part-time at a franchise cafe, but controversy arose after the cafe owner denied employing her. Kim Sae Ron responded that she was filling in for someone else.
There were also reports that she worked part-time at a pub in Gangnam for several months, to which she responded by confirming that it was a “restaurant that sold alcohol.”
Kim Sae Ron has stated that she will not be appealing the verdict of her first trial, in which the Seoul Central District Court fined her $15,166 for violating the Road Traffic Act by drunk driving and not taking action after an accident. She said, “I don’t think I will be filing an appeal as I think I should take responsibility for what I did. So, I have no intention of appealing at all.”
On April 5th, Kim Sae Ron was fined $15,166 in the first trial by the Seoul Central District Court after being indicted without detention on charges of violating the Road Traffic Act, which included drunk driving and not taking action after an accident.
