After Lee Do Hyun and Lim Ji Yeon came forward with their relationship, the commentary video for The Glory has been making headlines.
In February, the official Netflix Korea YouTube channel uploaded a behind-the-scenes commentary video featuring Writer Kim Eun Sook, Director Ahn Gil Ho, and actors Song Hye Kyo, Lee Do Hyun, Lim Ji Yeon, and Yeom Hye Ran discussing scenes from part 1.
Since Lee and Lim were known to have developed feelings for each other during the gatherings towards the end of filming The Glory, it is speculated that the commentary video was filmed after the two officially became an item.
During the video, Lee Do Hyun showed surprise at the scene where Song Hye Kyo slaps Lim Ji Yeon, asking if she slapped her for real. Song replied with a laugh, “No, I’d have gotten in trouble if (I hit her for real).” While Lim Ji Yeon expressed embarrassment at seeing her performance from the get-go, Lee Do Hyun candidly commented, “Wow, that was scary.”
Lim Ji Yeon explained, “It was one of our few action scenes. We had to swing and land the punch well, so I think that’s what was hard about the scene.” Lee Do Hyun responded with, “How scary,” which Lim Ji Yeon laughed at, obviously finding him cute.
On April 1st, Lee Do Hyun and Lim Ji Yeon admitted that they were romantically involved. Both actors’ agencies confirmed that the two are “slowly getting to know each other and carefully progressing in their relationship.”
