FIFTY FIFTY has become the fastest K-pop group to enter the Billboard Hot 100.
On the 27th (local time), Billboard announced that FIFTY FIFTY had made their debut on the Billboard Hot 100 with their song “CUPID,” entering at No. 100. With this, FIFTY FIFTY has become the fastest K-pop group to enter the Billboard main chart.
FIFTY FIFTY debuted with their single THE FIFTY in November last year. The act achieved the feat of entering the Billboard Hot 100 chart only four months after their debut. This is a faster record than their senior groups such as Wonder Girls, TWICE, Blackpink, and BTS.
With this chart entry, FIFTY FIFTY has made history in K-pop. They have become the K-pop group to enter the Billboard main chart the fastest, and the sixth K-pop group to enter the Hot 100 chart following Wonder Girls, BTS, Blackpink, TWICE, and NCT.
