Is Kim Seon Ho returning to the small screen with Park Gyu Young?
On the 16th, Kim Seon Ho’s agency Salt Entertainment told Xportsnews, “Kim Seon Ho is positively considering appearing in the drama Mangnaein (romanticized, working title).”
Mangnaein, scheduled to be produced as a six-episode OTT series, is about a woman who can’t believe her little sister’s suicide teaming up with a mysterious man to get to the bottom of her sudden death. It comes from Director Kim Jee Woon, whose credits include I Saw the Devil, The Age of Shadows, and Illang: The Wolf Brigade, and Through the Darkness helmer Park Bo Ram.
On the same day, Park Gyu Young’s agency Saram Entertainment confirmed, “Park Gyu Young has received an offer to take on the female lead in Mangnaein and is positively considering it.” The actress is currently filming the webtoon-adapted romance series A Good Day to be a Dog (literal title) with Cha Eun Woo.
Meanwhile, media outlets have reported that Kim Seon Ho has left the production of Haesi’s Shinru (literal title). Haesi’s Shinru is the upcoming historical romance series based on the web novel of the same name written by Yoon Yi Soo, well-known for Love in the Moonlight. An insider said, “The actor was in talks to star in the drama but agreed with the production company to step down.”
Kim Seon Ho made a comeback last year in the play Touching the Void. He is currently filming Park Hoon Jung’s movie Tyrant (literal title).
