Cha Joo Young‘s previous comments on The Glory: Part 1 are resurfacing as she appears shirtless in the show’s second part.

In the drama, she portrays Choi Hye Jeong, one of the characters who bullied Moon Dong Eun (played by Song Hye Kyo). Despite being less wealthy than other characters, such as Park Yeon Jin (Lim Ji Yeon), Lee Sara (Kim Hieora), and Jeon Jae Joon (Park Sung Hoon), her character is just as vain as they are.

In the first season, Cha Joo Young wore figure-hugging outfits to accurately portray her character, who had a breast augmentation. The actress had previously mentioned that she lost about twelve pounds for the role.

Cha Joo Young shot two shirtless scenes for Part 2. In the first scene, she removed her clothes in response to Jae Joon’s proposal, but her chest area was not revealed. In the other scene, she took off her shirt in front of Park Yeon Jin, and this time her exposed chest was caught on camera. Some netizens speculated that the production used visual effects or a body double for the shots in question, and others had negative reactions to the seemingly unnecessary scenes added to the show.

As the scenes featuring the actress are going viral, a video interview she did with Allure in January is also resurfacing. In the interview, Cha Joo Young shared a story about the popular scene where she wore a white dress. She revealed that she had actually prepared a more loose-fitting outfit, but the director wanted her to wear the one that appeared in the show.
