BLACKPINK has been announced as the headliner for Coachella.
According to Coachella, BLACKPINK will perform as the headliner of this festival on April 15th and 22nd.
While the group previously performed at Coachella back in 2019, this year will mark the girls’ first time taking the stage as a headliner – and the first K-pop group to do so.
BLACKPINK stood shoulder to shoulder with world-famous pop stars in the documentary commemorating Coachella’s 20th anniversary, Coachella: 20 Years in the Desert. Especially their performance was selected as one of the biggest moments in Coachella’s history, leaving a monumental footstep of K-pop.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK was also announced as the first K-pop act to headline BST Hyde Park, one of the best UK music festivals. The quartet proved to be on another level, being simultaneously invited as the headliner of the two largest music festivals.
