A woman in her 40s who has constantly been stalking Rain and Kim Tae Hee has been sent to trial.
On December 29th, the 3rd Criminal Division of the Seoul Western District Prosecutor’s Office announced that they decided to prosecute the woman for violating the Stalking Punishment Act.
According to the prosecution, the woman had been frequently warned of breaking the Misdemeanor Punishment Act for her acts, which included visiting their home 14 times from March to October of last year and continuously ringing their doorbell.
Despite the warnings, the woman returned to the couple’s residence and knocked on the door in February. Furthermore, it was reported in April that the stalker went to the victims’ beauty salon and continued stalking them there.
The prosecutor involved in the case shared, “We are taking strong measures on stalking crimes, and we will continue to do so moving forward.”
