The new Coupang Play series Hit the Spot is receiving favorable reviews from viewers all around the world.
Hit the Spot centers around Hee Jae (Hani), who’s never climaxed before, and Mina (Bae Woo Hee) who enjoys sex without dating. The show was first released in 140 countries on the 23rd, Rakuten Viki (North America, Europe, Oceania, and Asia, Viu (Hong Kong and Macau), and friDay (Taiwan).
The first two episodes introduced the four characters – Hee Jae, who’s never climaxed during sex before; Mina, who enjoys sex without strings attached; the perfect partner In Chan (Park Sun Ho); and the mysterious man Woo Jae (Choi Kwong Rock) – and the stories on the podcast “Fanta G Spot.” The drama that started and ended with sex counseling approached the overseas viewers who are culturally more open to sex compared to Korea more refreshingly. Especially the talks about women’s sexual desire won the female viewers’ sympathy.
