Netflix confirmed the January release of Physical: 100 and dropped teaser posters and a trailer.
Physical: 100 is an extreme survival game show with 100 people in top physical shape competing in a series of grueling challenges to claim the honor of having the “best body” and cash reward. The teaser posters capture the contestants in the middle of the games, boasting their muscular bodies. The copy “Fight to the death and survive until the end” best describes the passion they’re pouring out.
The trailer released together vividly showcases the survival game of 100 people competing to find the “best body,” regardless of gender, age, or race. In a show where they can get eliminated after one small mistake and have to show performances that highlight their mental power, the 100 participants will present fun and a sense of immersion.
Moreover, Olympic gold medalist skeleton racer Yun Sung Bin and mixed martial artist Choo Sung Hoon are also spotted. Yun Sung Bin tells him, “Let’s have fun,” to which Choo Sung Hoon replies, “I’ll do my best.”
Director Jang Ho Gi said, “We invited 100 people in top physical shape to one place and gave them the same quest. Sometimes bloody and sometimes bizarre quests require various physical abilities from participants. Strong mental power is a must and mind games can’t be avoided. Only one person of the 100 can survive, and that person’s body will be a solution to the ‘best body.'”
Meanwhile, Physical: 100 will be released on January 24th.
