Reports have come out that BTS’ Suga has been assigned as a social service agent instead of a frontline soldier.

On the 13th, The Asia Business Daily quoted a military official in its report about Suga being assigned to a supplementary service. “There’s a high possibility that he will work in a government office,” the report explained.

Big Hit neither confirmed nor denied, stating, “The members plan to serve in the military in order according to their plans. It is difficult to confirm any personal information.”

Suga got into a car accident in 2012 and was diagnosed with dislocation of the humerus in his shoulder the following year. In 2019, the singer was told that the cartilage around his left shoulder joint was torn, and in November of the following year, Suga underwent surgery.

Meanwhile, BTS’ oldest member Jin got enlisted today (13th). Suga, born a year after Jin, postponed his enlistment until the next year.
