Winners Of 2022 MAMA Awards Day 2 – BTS Becomes the Biggest Winner with 6 Trophies

BTS and IVE were honored with grand prizes at the 2022 MAMA.

On November 30th, 2022 MAMA Awards held its day two of ceremony at Kyocera Dome Osaka with Park Bo Gum as the host. The biggest winner of the night was none other than BTS, taking home a total of six trophies including the first grand prize (Worldwide Icon of the Year) given yesterday.

“The year 2022 was a year when the seven grown-ups overcame the hardships and trials and once again went through the pain of growing up,” J-Hope said in his acceptance speech. “In the end, we had to make a bold decision with the mindset that we can produce enjoyable music only when we’re happy.” He then stressed BTS’ love for ARMY, saying, “The time has come for you and us to be together in faith. Please support members’ solo activities. ARMY has BTS.”

Another grand prize, Song of the Year, went to IVE. The girls shed tears as they said their acceptance speech. “It’s such an honor to be able to stand on such a big stage, but it’s even more meaningful to receive such an amazing award.”
