From Namgoong Min to Michelle Yeoh, Stars Mourn the Itaewon Crush Victims

Many stars are mourning the victims of the Itaewon crowd crush.

On October 31st, Namgoong Min took his Instagram to post a picture that says, “My heart breaks. My deepest condolences to Itaewon victims.” The actor is in the same agency as the late Lee Ji Han, who is among those killed in the crow surge. 

On the same day, Big Bang rapper T.O.P wrote on his Instagram, “I express my deepest condolences to the Itaewon crush victims. I offer my condolences and best wishes to those who died in the tragic accident.” He added, “We are delaying the launch of our wine.”

Lee Cheong Ah shared, “I hope that such an accident will never happen again. I want you all to take care of yourself amid this heart-wrenching situation. I sincerely wish the injured to get well soon both physically and mentally. I extend my deepest condolences to those who are killed in the disaster.”

Jung Woo Sung showed his condolences by uploading a black photo without saying a word. 

Some international stars also joined in expressing their condolences to the victims.

On the 30th, Michelle Yeoh commemorated the victims by posting a black and white flower photo on Instagram. She wrote, “So shocked and saddened by the Itaewon tragedy. Heartfelt condolences.”

Jamie Lee Curtis also tweeted her condolences on the tragedy. “A terrible tragedy in Seoul. The loss of so many young people enjoying the freedom to celebrate together again. As we gather on our own groups, in our own ways on Halloween, hold them and their families near.”
