KARA will be coming back to the K-pop scene as a whole group in November.
On the 19th, RBW announced, “KARA will release an album to commemorate their 15th debut anniversary in November. As this is the act’s 15th-anniversary album after gathering together for the first time in a while, we plan on supporting the KARA members so that they can express their feelings of wanting to gift their fans to the fullest.”
This is KARA’s comeback as a whole group seven years after their last mini-album In Love, released in May 2015. One thing to note is that Nicole and Jiyoung, who left the team in 2014, will be joining Gyuri, Seungyeon, and Youngji for the upcoming smash.
KARA’s 15th-anniversary album will be released by RBW, which acquired KARA’s original agency DSP Media. The five girls will be appearing on various TV shows after the release, raising expectations.
Meanwhile, after debuting in 2007 with the first full album Bloooooming, KARA released many hit songs including “Pretty Girl,” “Honey,” and “Jumping.” The act showed impressive performances on the Japanese Oricon chart and became the first K-pop girl group to hold a concert at the Tokyo Dome.
