Jang Dong Yoon, Seol In Ah and Choo Young Woo will be starring in KBS’ new drama Oasis (literal title).
Set in the turbulent times of South Korea between the 1980s and 1990s, this melodrama follows three young people fiercely fighting to pursue their dreams and love.
Jang Dong Yoon plays a poor yet clever young man named Lee Doo Hak. He falls in love at first sight with Oh Jung Shin, who transfers to his school from Seoul and unexpectedly gets caught up in a whirlpool of events.
Seol In Ah plays Oh Jung Shin who is not afraid to fight against injustice. She is a strong-willed young woman who does everything to achieve her dreams. As she transfers to the same school as Lee Doo Hak and Choi Chul Woong, she makes unforgettable memories with two new friends.
Chu Young Woo takes the role of Choi Chul Woong, Doo Hak’s childhood friend and rival. As an elite student, he has it all and hates losing but struggles to win Jung Shin’s heart.
Oasis will begin its filming in September and will premiere in the first half of 2023.
