BLACKPINK’s Jennie and BTS’ V are embroiled in dating rumors once again.
On August 23rd, a new photo of Jennie and V surfaced online, fueling their romance rumors. In the released photo, Jennie is seen smiling and taking a mirror selfie with her phone while V gets his hair styled. So far, nothing has been revealed about by whom and how the photo got leaked. Some speculated the picture had been leaked by a close acquaintance of the pair or from Jennie’s secret Instagram account.
YG Entertainment and Big Hit Music are still staying quiet about their reported relationship, and it is unlikely that the labels will respond to the ongoing rumors, considering that they hadn’t made any announcements when the initial rumor broke out.
Jennie and V’s dating rumors first went viral online on May 22nd when the two were photographed together in a car on Jeju island. Both of their agencies did not release any statement regarding the photo, which clearly shows Jennie and V’s faces.
On August 24th, V headed to Incheon International Airport and flew to New York for his overseas schedule. Meanwhile, Jennie has resumed group activities for BLACKPINK’s second full-length album, BORN PINK, after dropping their pre-release single “Pink Venom.” She will also fly to New York tomorrow with the group members to perform at the 2022 MTV VMAs and promote their new album.
