Reports say that ENA’s Extraordinary Attorney Woo is in talks for an American remake.

According to the reports made on July 14th, an industry insider revealed that Extraordinary Attorney Woo has already been receiving proposals for remakes from various countries, including the United States. Previously, Good Doctor, a Korean medical drama about a young surgeon with autism, was remade in the United States and aired on prime-time ABC for five seasons. As the remake did incredibly well on American television, many production companies in the United States are eager to snag the remake rights to the ongoing hit series.

Another source said, “American production companies instinctively know that the drama will do well in their country based on what Good Doctor has seen.”

The most popular Wednesday-Thursday drama is rewriting the ENA’s history, with each episode soaring to new highs. The third and fourth episodes continued to see a rating boost, recording 4.032 percent and 5.7 percent, respectively. The latest episode achieved a surprising viewership rating of 9.138 percent.

According to Netflix’s data, the series ranked first on this week’s non-English title with 23.95 million watch hours. The second place went to Mexican drama Control Z Season 3, which garnered 18.08 million hours of watch time.
