Will Ju Ji Hoon and Lee Soo Yeon team up for the new project?
According to OSEN, Ju Ji Hoon has recently decided to hop on the production of the new drama Dominant Species (literal title). To which the actor’s agency responded that he’s positively reviewing the offer.
Currently, Ju Ji Hoon is filming the summer tent-pole movie Kidnapped (literal title) with Ha Jung Woo. If he does join the show, he’ll start shooting Dominant Species in September.
Dominant Species, penned by Stranger and Grid writer Lee Soo Yeon, tells the story of superior genes, viruses, and a world where people ingest food as pills. The show will most likely be released on an OTT platform, and Ace Factory will be producing.
Interest in the synergy of Ju Ji Hoon, who showed his best performance in Kingdom and Jirisan, and Lee Soo Yeon, a writer specializing in crime and thriller genres, is high.
Meanwhile, besides Dominant Species, Ju Ji Hoon will greet the audiences with several movies that pushed back their release due to the pandemic, including Silence, Kidnapped, and Gentleman.
