Kim Dong Wook and Jin Ki Joo will team up for the new drama.
On the 24th, KBS’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama You, Whom I Met By Chance (literal title) confirmed the casting of Kim Dong Wook and Jin Ki Joo.
You, Whom I Met By Chance follows the strange but beautiful time travel of a man and a woman trapped in 1987. It tells the story of a man who seeks the truth of a serial murder case meeting a woman who wants to prevent her parents’ wedding, only to realize that their goals are connected.
Kim Dong Wook plays Yoon Hye Joon, a level-headed and straightforward man. He was the youngest to become a news anchor for the 9 o’clock news after joining the network as a reporter. Not only is he intelligent, but he’s also good-looking and kind-hearted.
Jin Ki Joo takes on the role of Baek Yoon Young, an ordinary girl who puts her soul into her job as an employee. One day, she vents out her anger on her mom and experiences an unexpected incident. Regretting that day, she starts living a very different life.
Meanwhile, You, Whom I Met By Chance comes from Baek So Yeon and Kang Soo Yeon, the writer and director of The Tale of Nokdu. The show aims to premiere in the latter half of 2022.
