The Witch: Part 2. The Other One (hereinafter The Witch 2) tells the story of a young girl who escapes a secret laboratory after becoming the only survivor of an accident that destroys the lab. The action film depicts various forces that pursue the young girl for their own reasons.
Seo Eun Soo will take on the role of agent Jo Hyeon who embarks on a mission to kill the young girl (played by Shin Sia) who escaped the laboratory. As it’s her first stunt work, the actress shared, “Although it was difficult, it was very thrilling to play the character I always wanted to play.”
Jin Goo stars as the boss who shatters the peace of Kyung Hee (Park Eun Bin) and Dae Gil (Sung Yoo Bin). He is a dangerous character who is not afraid to do anything it takes to kill the mysterious girl. The male star heightened the audience’s expectation for the upcoming sequel by saying, “You will get to enjoy the epic scale of The Witch 2 with its �vivid characters.”
Lee Jong Suk will be returning to the big screen for the time in five years through this movie, playing the head of the research institute who chases down the missing girl. He will add tension to the story as he confronts Baek (played by Jo Min Su) who initially launched the “witch project.” Jo Min Su remarked, “Lee Jong Suk did an amazing job of pulling his character. I couldn’t believe that he took such a long break.” Her remark raises curiosity about how flawlessly he portrayed his role in the upcoming sequel.
The Witch: Part 2. The Other One will hit theaters on June 15th.
