On the 4th, Lee Ga Ryeong shared how she got her age wrong on her internet profile while sharing the closing comments on TV Chosun’s Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce) Season 3.
The star plays a radio DJ named Boo Hye Ryung, who happens to be the wife of Pan Sa Hyun (played by Kang Shin Hyo). She had to pull off a character possessed by Song Won’s (Lee Min Young) spirit, who previously had an affair with her husband.
It turned out that the actual age of the female celebrity was 43. Some of her fans were thrown into confusion when her birth year was belatedly revealed since the internet said that she is 35.
The female star explained, “I had no chance to correct my age shown on the Internet as I had no agency during my hiatus.” “I had no chance to verbally correct it through having an interview as I was too busy filming the drama back then. I wasn’t even able to consider having an agency,” she added. She continued, “When I was a fashion model, it was a common thing to adjust our age on the Internet depending on occasions. One day, I found that many fans knew me as 35. I did not mean to cause confusion. I was born in 1980.”
