The officials of JTBC’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama Insider have revealed an exciting new teaser poster ahead of its June premiere. Insider is an action-suspense drama about a judicial trainee named Kim Yo Han who falls into a crisis while doing an undercover mission that changes his life forever.
Missing: The Other Side director Min Yeon Hong and Priest writer Moon Man Sae have joined hands for the project, and Kang Ha Neul, Lee Yoo Young, and Heo Sung Tae were tapped to play the title roles.
Kang Ha Neul will be playing the judicial trainee who gets entangled in an incident during an undercover investigation. On his hunt for corrupt prosecutors at a gambling site, he gets caught up in an unexpected event that later destroys his life.
After being thrown out of the world, he begins a deadly game in prison for his revenge. In the teaser poster, Kim Yo Han’s two different personas capture the eyes of the viewers. Kim Yo Han is gazing directly at us with both faces of a criminal and a prosecutor. In contrast to the righteous and determined prosecutor Kim Yo Han, the other half with a bruised face, speaks about the struggle he experienced in prison.
The production team noted, “Kim Yo Han stepped into a tough world dominated by power and not justice. I hope you stay tuned to see how his desperate fight will change his fate around as he starts his prison sentence with hidden intentions and a fake identity. You will be able to find Kang Ha Neul’s true value as he draws out the dynamic narrative of Kim Yo Han.”
