The final episode of Soundtrack #1 had the story of Park Hyung Sik and Han So Hee ending on a happy note.
Episode 4 shows how the story of Han Sun Woo (played by Park Hyung Sik) and Lee Eun Soo (Han So Hee) unfolds after a year of being apart from each other. Although they spend the year miles apart, they manage to keep in touch regularly as if nothing has ever happened. In the meantime, Eun Soo is on a roll with the lyrics she writes, and Sun Woo gains recognition as a photographer. However, despite having a successful career, she still feels a huge void in her heart.
One day, Seon Woo comes back to Korea due to a sudden change of plans. Eun Soo is greatly surprised by his sudden visit, and although she is a little taken aback, she welcomes him with an undeniable grin on her face. However, she notices that he is with another lady who has vast feelings for him. Eun Soo feels a little alert after seeing her flirting with Sun Woo, so she finally decides to confess her feelings to him.
What brought them together was the lyrics they used to write together. Eun Soo took out unfinished lyrics she wrote while thinking about him. She tells him that she’s struggling with the last line of her lyrics and shows him what she wrote over the year. Sun Woo reads the lyrics that are basically like a love confession and writes her back, saying, “Please stay by my side. I love you.” They share a sweet kiss upon confirming each other’s feelings and the show ends with the two joyfully reunited, this time as lovers.
