Lee Seung Gi and Lee Se Young have joined the new KBS series Love According to Law (literal title).
Love According to Law is the new legal romance drama. It tells the story of a former prosecutor-turned-landlord that opens a coffee shop/law firm hybrid with a lawyer. It’s a drama adaptation of the web novel of the same name.
First, Lee Seung Gi plays Kim Jung Ho. He was a former prosecutor who was called “a monster genius,” but now, his job is that of a landlord. He’s been friends with Kim Yoo Ri for 17 years. Although he’s charismatic, he’s actually quite romantic.
Playing Kim Yoo Ri is The Red Sleeve actress Lee Se Young. She’s a tenant in Kim Jung Ho’s building. She’s someone who can’t stand injustice. In the show, she’ll be showing a straightforward romance for Kim Jung Ho.
The production team shared, “Lee Seung Gi and Lee Se Young will be waking up your dried-up emotions with their charms. Please show a lot of interest in Love According to Law that’ll have both a heart-fluttering romance and the thrill of ‘justice is served’ story.”
Meanwhile, Lee Eun Jin, who co-directed Bread, Love and Dreams and Good Manager, was tabbed as the director of Love According to Law. The show will premiere on August 29th.
