Kim Jae Wook and Krystal showed off their romantic chemistry in the pictorial for Cosmopolitan Korea.

The actors are getting ready for the premiere of their new drama, Crazy Love. They first shared reasons they chose the project. Kim Jae Wook shared, “I take the first vibe I get from reading the script quite seriously. The quality of the project is important, but the story has to coincide with my personal situation. I’ve been feeling depressed because of the ongoing COVID, so I wanted to do a drama that I could laugh with. That’s when I was offered Crazy Love.”

Krystal talked about making such a short comeback after Police University. “I don’t normally appear in two projects back-to-back like this, but I didn’t want to miss the chance. It’s my first rom-com series. And I thought it was about time,” she explained.

Kim Jae Wook introduced their new drama with the word “turbulent.” He added, “As I was filming the movie Just Married, starring Ashton Kutcher and Brittany Murphy, kept coming to mind. It tells the story of a newlywed couple that fights like crazy on their honeymoon.”

As they played two conflicting characters, the two actors expressed their views on romance and love. To the question, “When do you feel like you love someone?” Kim Jae Wook answered, “The moment I make an effort to understand the other person.” He continued, “When I find myself trying to understand someone who lived apart from me for a very long time and in a different world. If dating is about wanting to be with someone else and have conversations, Love is a deeper and bigger concept. It’s understanding and respect.”

On the other hand, Krystal said, “I need to take as much as I’ve given.” She laughed and added, “If I don’t get what I want, I will directly tell them what to do.'”

Meanwhile, Crazy Love will premiere on March 7th.
