In the 7th and 8th episodes of Rookie Cops, Kang Daniel and Chae Soo Bin shared a sweet kiss.

The episode began with the freshmen candidates preparing for the school sports festival with all their might, as it was their precious chance to deduct the penalty points they received. The students were seen choosing partners to receive additional physical training for the festival. Wi Seung Hyun (Kang Daniel) was able to team up with Go Eun Gang (Chae Soo Bin) with the help of Kim Tak (Lee Shin Young), and the two began working out in the gym together. In the women’s triathlon event, Ki Han Na (Park Yoo Na) helped Eun Gang finish the race, which made the two girls resolve their issues with each other.

Seung Hyun and Eun Gang’s romance bloomed in the same episode. The two quickly grew close to each other while preparing for the sports event. Seung Hyun seemed anxious as he heard that Jang Joo Chan, Eun Gang’s long-time crush, had broken up with his girlfriend. However, Eun Gang chose Seung Hyun over Joo Chan despite what he had expected. Eun Gang asks Seung Hyun out on the sports festival day by saying, “I think I’m in love with you.” Seung Hyun replies to her by giving a sweet kiss.

Meanwhile, it has been revealed that Kim Hyun Soo (Kwak Si Yang), a police trainee who died during a training session by accident, was Kim Tak’s brother. Professor Cha Yoo Gon (Kim Sang Ho) was seen all baffled and startled by the fact that the two were brothers. Wi Ki Yong (Son Chang Min) also added tension to the show as he began digging around Kim Tak.
