Kim Taehyung, otherwise known as V, has set two new world records with his Instagram account.
On December 6th, all seven members of BTS made their own individual Instagram accounts for the first time. They instantly gained a million followers, and soon, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook all saw 17 million followers in 24 hours. As of today, each bandmate has more than 20 million followers on their account, and it only took a week for them to hit such a number.

Among the seven members, V led the charge in terms of follower count, breaking the record for the fastest time to reach 1 million followers on Instagram. Guinness World Records confirmed that BTS’ V had broken the world records for racking up one million followers in 43 minutes and 10 million followers in four hours and 52 minutes. The former holders of the title include Hollywood stars Rupert Grint, Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston and Billie Eilish.
