Now We Are Breaking Up

Drama Ranking for the 2nd Week of November

MBC’s new series The Red Sleeve debuted at No. 1, seeing a smooth start. Many showed satisfaction over the fact that it’s a traditional historical drama, not a fusion historical drama. Additionally, the directing of the series gained high praises. SBS’s new series Now, We Are Breaking Up started off at No. 2. After the first broadcast, the production received mixed reactions – “It’s fun” or “it’s too old-fashioned.” Third place went to KBS’s The King’s Affection. Viewers constantly showed satisfaction over Park Eun Bin’s acting prowess, and the actress’s chemistry with Rowoon also gained favorable reviews. KBS’s Young Lady and Gentleman saw a rise in its popularity for six weeks, ranking fourth. However, the latest teaser heralded Ji Hyun Woo’s amnesia, becoming the hottest topic among viewers. tvN’s Happiness dropped to fifth place, but empathic responses poured out over the realistic story. Another tvN drama Jirisan plummeted down to sixth place, seeing a big drop in popularity. Disappointing reactions over the directing and plot continued to show up. tvN’s new dramas Melancholia and Secret Royal Inspector & Joy debuted at No. 7 and No. 9, respectively.
