The highly-anticipated movie The Pirates: Goblin Flag confirmed the Lunar New Year release.
The Pirates: Goblin Flag �follows the pirates’ journey in finding the lost treasure of the Goryeo royal family, which disappeared without a trace. This new action-adventure movie has all three elements: a refreshing plot, attractive characters, and spectacular scenery unfolding on the sea.
The Pirates: Goblin Flag begins when Moo Chi, the leader of righteous outlaws who claims himself to be the best swordsman in Joseon, encounters pirate Hae Rang by chance. It will provide fresh fun with a larger scale, a new story, and pleasant chemistry created by different characters. The adventure unfolding in the middle of the sea will allow viewers an exhilarating cinematic experience with a story that’ll give but tension and laughter.
The film features not only Kang Ha Neul (Moo Chi) and Han Hyo Joo (Hae Rang) but also Lee Kwang Soo (Mak Yi), Kwon Sang Woo (Boo Heung Soo), Chae Soo Bin (Hae Geum), Sehun (Han Goong), Kim Sung Oh (Kang Sub), and Park Ji Hwan (Agwi).
With the outbreak of COVID-19, the movie industry has been stagnant for more than two years. However, as the vaccination completion rate recently exceeded 70% and the implementation of “with COVID” from November 1st, the industry is expected to revive.
