Han Hyo Joo is ready to dominate the small screen with her charisma.
Today, the Happiness production team unveiled the still photos of Han Hyo Joo, who has perfectly disappeared into Yoon Sae Boom, an ace agent of the SWAT team.
Happiness is an apocalyptic thriller that illustrates the survival of the characters isolated in a high-rise apartment, a miniature of a hierarchical society. Set against the building that has been locked down due to new infectious diseases, the show portrays fears, fierce survival, and thrilling mind games between the survivors.
For this highly-anticipated series, WATCHER crew Ahn Gil Ho and writer Han Sang Won joined hands once again. And joining these hitmakers are actors Park Hyung Sik, Han Hyo Joo, Cho Woo Jin, Lee Joon Hyuk, Park Joo Hee, and more.
Above all, expectations for Han Hyo Joo’s comeback are high. And today, the crew released the new still photos that have captured the actress’s charisma.
Yoon Sae Boom, played by Han Hyo Joo, has quick decision-making skills and boldness. Calling herself the “scariest instructor,” she pushes the trainees without hesitation. But in another photo, Yoon is pointing a gun at someone, suggesting that the situation has reached flashpoint.
“The script was so much fun, and I got immersed in the story more because Yoon Sae Boom resembled me at the time,” Han Hyo Joo commented. “Yoon Sae Boom is reckless, bold, and candid. Whatever she thinks, she immediately puts it into action. I often enjoy vicarious satisfaction while acting.”
She then added, “As there were many similarities, I was about to create Yoon Sae Bom without having to create it from the ground up. Because the current Han Hyo Joo resembles Yoon Sae Boom, I think that sympathy and empathy will be expressed through my acting.”
Meanwhile, Happiness will air on tvN from November 5th at 10:40 PM KST. You can also watch the show on OTT platform TVING.
