“Queen Hwasa” is coming back.
According to multiple reports, Hwasa is currently working on a new solo album. Though the specific schedule has not been confirmed yet, she’s working on the new songs with hopes of making a comeback within this year.
In response, RBW confirmed, “Hwasa has been steadily working on her solo album. We will inform you of the details later once the decision is made.”
Meanwhile, Hwasa had swept the global music charts with both MAMAMOO and solo albums. The last solo album Maria dropped was her mini-album, Maria, in June last year. In particular, her song “Maria” was selected as one of the best K-pop songs released in 2020 by TIME, solidifying her position as a solo artist in the global market.
