Drama Ranking for the First Week of August

tvN’s Hospital Playlist 2 climbed to the No. 1 spot again. A post that criticized the drama’s elitism became a big topic, and a lot of people agreed with the post, saying, “I get what he’s saying.” SBS’s The Penthouse 3 landed at No. 2 for the second week. The scene where Um Ki Joon and Kim So Yeon had a brawl after getting tricked by Park Eun Seok and Lee Ji Ah gained much attention. tvN’s The Devil Judge fell down two spots. Though it saw a slight decrease in popularity, people are still showing satisfaction over the captivating plot. tvN’s You Are My Spring came in 4th with favorable reviews over Seo Hyun Jin and Kim Dong Wook’s performance. TV CHOSUN’s Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce) 2 finished strong, recording its own best ranking and popularity. The shocking story that aired in the final episode made headlines.

Mnet’s Girls Planet 999 debuted at No. 1. After the premiere episode, many viewers expressed concerns about whether the member selection process would be fair, referring to the past controversy over manipulation of Mnet’s survival shows. tvN’s DoReMi Market, which featured a “Music Show Host” special, ranked 4th.
