CL will make her comeback on August 24th, officially starting her ALPHA project.
On the 13th, CL unveiled the album cover art and comeback scheduler of ALPHA. Earlier this week, CL exuded intense charisma in front of a screen that shows magma erupting in the coming soon trailer. And this time, she caught the eye with a futuristic mood through her blue album cover art.
According to the scheduler released together, CL will release her first single of the ALPHA project on August 24th. The second single will be dropped in September, with her first-ever full album coming in October.
This shows CL’s intention to take time to convey the true meaning of the album as ALPHA is CL’s first solo full album in more than 13 years since her debut.
Meanwhile, CL has been paving the way for ALPHA, starting with the mini-album In the Name of Love released in 2019, “+HWA+” and “+5STAR+” released last year, “Wish You Were Here” released in February this year.
