MBC has selected NCT’s Jungwoo and Stray Kids’ Lee Know as the new hosts of Show! Music Core. Starting with the live broadcast on the 14th, they will join IZ*ONE’s Kim Minju.

First debuted in February 2018 as NCT U, Jungwoo joined NCT 127 in October of the same year and worked as a lead vocalist and lead dancer. Since he’s called the “mood maker” of the group, he will be in charge of delivering pleasant energy every Saturday.

Lee Know debuted in March 2018 as the dancer, vocalist, and rapper of Stray Kids. Showing the unexpected charm of a handsome boy, Lee Know will show a whole new side of him as the host of a music show.

The three hosts had their first meeting at the photoshoot for the new poster.

Jungwoo expressed his joy, saying, “It’s an emcee to be the host of Show! Music Core. I will do my best to become an emcee that brings happiness to everyone in a lively and pleasant way every week.” Lee Know shared, “Although I feel a bit pressured to be at this honorable position, I will become an emcee who leaves a footmark in Show! Music Core by showing how I improve.”

Minju also expressed expectations for the collaboration with the new partners. “I will make every Saturday a fun and energetic Saturday with the new emcees,” she added.

The live broadcast on the 14th will feature the special stage of the new hosts. Jungwoo and Lee Know will each be on the stage to show off their skills. Afterwards, all three emcees will perform a special stage they have prepared despite their hectic schedules.
