TVING original film The Mansion (literal title) will paint out the realistic horror with Lim Ji Yeon and Yun Kyun Sang.

The Mansion is a mystery thriller set in an apartment that’s about to be reconstructed. It follows a woman who digs into the truth behind her missing sister. The shocking truth, including the suspicious neighbors hiding their greed behind a smile, will deliver intense suspense.

Canola and Death Bell director Chang helms the production, while Man In Love and The Chase writer Yoo Gap Yeol pens the script.

Lim Ji Yeon plays Ji Na, a contract employee of a hotel who attempts to search for her missing sister. She seems to be living an ordinary life, but she’s filled with an inferiority complex on the inside. When she finds about her missing older sister, she returns to where she grew up, Jangmi Mansion. And there, she faces an unexpected incident that throws her into chaos.

Yun Kyun Sang will turn into homicide detective Min Soo, the only person who believes Ji Na’s words. He’s a man of action who often gets hooked on one thing. He joins hands with Ji Na to uncover the truth about her sister’s disappearance. Everyone wants to rely on him, but deep down, he carries his own darkness.

The production team shared, “We will uncover the greed, secrets, and lies that humans have in an apartment, space where we live in. The realistic horror that penetrates our ordinary lives will create intense suspense.”

Meanwhile, The Mansion will be released exclusively on TVING in the first half of 2022.
