Stars Who Own the Most Expensive Houses

On Wednesday, Mnet’s ‘TMI News’ released the list of 13 stars who are living in the most expensive houses.

Jang Dong Gun–Ko So Young couple was listed at No. 1 on the list. The P Apartment located in Cheongdam-dong, where the couple lives, boasts a wonderful panoramic view of the Han River as a beautiful skyscraper. It was reported that the building has luxurious community facilities, top-of-the-line security, and private elevators. This March, an apartment with a size of 273.96 square meters was sold for 11.5 billion KRW (about $10 million).

Second on the list was Song Joong Ki, who purchased land and a house that overlooks Hannam-dong. He demolished the existing house last year and started constructing a new one. It’s a two-story detached house with three basement levels worth 10 billion KRW (about $8.72 million). In particular, Song also purchased a condo located in Hawaii in December 2019 for $2.28 million.

Third place went to Jo In Sung, who chose a luxurious officetel in Jamsil. S Residence, located on the 42nd to 71st floors of L Tower, the tallest building in Korea, provides 6-star hotel service. Even the kitchen is installed with only the finest products. The latest deal was made at about 9.2 billion KRW (about $ 8.02 million). Jo In Sung bought two rooms for his family.

None other than BTS’s RM came in 4th. After selling his room in the H Apartment in Hannam-dong, he bought a room in N Apartment in the same neighborhood. At the time, he paid 6.36 billion KRW (about $5.54 million) in cash. Fifth place went to So Ji Sub, who bought a room in the same apartment. Back in 2018, the actor paid 6.1 billion KRW (about $5.32 million) for a 4 bedroom apartment with 3 restrooms.

The list goes on.

Jun Ji Hyun, who owns real estate worth 80 billion KRW (about $69.72 million), landed in 8th place. She is now living in I Apartment located in Samseong-dong, which she bought before marriage. A room with a size of 167.72 square meters is now worth about 5.07 billion KRW (about $4.42 million).

Lee Min Ho came in 9th. The penthouse in L Villa, where Lee Min Ho lives, is a favorite of many stars. Recently, the same penthouse was sold for 4.46 billion KRW (about $3.89 million).

Number 12 on the list is the super-luxury house where Kim Soo Hyun lives. Designed by Jean Nouvel, G Apartment offers a Han River view, home appliances from a luxury brand, and rooms built with marble. Also, top-of-the-line facilities such as an indoor driving range, swimming pools, and elevators decorated with leather are installed. Kim Soo Hyun’s apartment is worth 4.02 billion KRW (about $3.5 million). Afterward, the actor purchased another apartment within the building that is priced at 3.02 billion KRW (about $2.63 million).
