Shin Ha Kyun is working on selecting his next project.
According to multiple industry insiders, Shin may star in Beyond The Memory.
Beyond The Memory will be a TV adaptation of original work that centers around virtual reality in the future. It will be produced into “a mid-form drama,” a series that lasts less than an hour.
Since he has wonderfully played an award-winning character in Beyond Evil earlier this year, many wondered what Shin Ha Kyun’s next step would be. Should he choose Beyond The Memory as his next project, it will be his first TVING original work.
Director Lee Joon Ik will helm the series. Attention is drawn to how he will unravel an OTT TV series since he has always been a renowned film director. Screenwriters Kim Jeong Hoon, Oh Seung Hyeon, and Kim Seong Cheol will pen the script.
The film director Lee and Beyond Evil star Shin got their moment to shine their nights at the latest Baeksang Arts Awards. The film director won Grand Prize in Film with The Book of Fish, and the actor won the Best Leading Actor in TV with Beyond Evil.
Beyond The Memory is finalizing the casting process and will begin its production in the second half of this year.
