According to Starnews, Red Velvet’s Wendy and actress Cha Chung Hwa will join as the new crew of SNL Korea.

Cha received great responses from viewers for her comedic acting in tvN hit series Mr. Queen. Since then, she has appeared on several variety shows, showing off her sense of humor. So, the expectations for her regular appearance on SNL Korea are already through the roof.

In particular, Wendy’s appearance is all the more surprising. She has previously appeared on talk shows, but this is her first-ever regular appearance on a comedy program. Her new challenge in comedy acting offers a unique attraction. And her chemistry with Shin Dong Yup, Ahn Young Mi, Jung Sang Hoon, and Kwon Hyuk Soo will be eye-catching.

Besides these two, Kim Sang Hyub, Joo Hyun Young, and Lee So Jin also have joined the SNK Korea crew.

Meanwhile, SNL Korea, the Korean version of NBC’s long-running comedy program Saturday Night Live, wrapped up its production in 2017 with season 9. However, SNL Korea revived as an original series at streamer Coupang Play and begin to premiere later this year. Shin Dong Yup, who led all nine seasons of SNL Korea, will return as the main host once again.
