Berry Good has announced their disbandment after seven years of their journey.
On May 12th, Berry Good’s agency, JTG Entertainment, announced the group’s disbandment. They further shared that they have been merged with Star Wave Entertainment.
JTG Entertainment released a statement saying, “After a long conversation, we mutually agreed to let the contract come to an end and disband Berry Good. We thank Berry Good’s fans, Bery Berry, for loving and cherishing the group.” “Jo Hyun will continue working under Star Wave Entertainment since her contract is not yet due. On the other hand, Se Hyung will not be renewing her contract, and we agreed to respect her wishes,” they added.
The company also asked fans to support and wish the best for Berry Good members and their future endeavors as they each go their separate ways.
Berry Good made their debut on May 22nd, 2014, with the digital single ‘Love letter.’
In 2015, when they released ‘Because of You,’ three members left the group. Soon, Seo Yul, Da Ye, and Seh Hyung joined. A year later, when they made come back with the song Since Glory (2016), Jo Hyun joined the group, and they became a group with six members. And in 2019, Da Ye left the industry, and Tae Ha parted ways with the group. In the same year, shortly after releasing Undying Love, Seo Yul, and Go Woon parted the act, leaving only two members in the group. Eventually, they have agreed to disband.
