Red Velvet’s Joy Will Make Her Solo Debut

Red Velvet’s Joy will debut as a solo artist soon.

According to Starnews, Joy will drop her first solo album at the end of this month. This marks Red Velvet’s second solo debut following Wendy.

Joy is well known for her clear vocals. Her debut album, set to be released seven years after her debut, will be filled with remakes of already released songs.

Earlier, Joy received great love for several remakes, including Hospital Playlist’s OST “Introduce Me a Good Person.” This particular smash was nominated for Melon Music Awards’ TOP 10. Also, she sang various remakes in her tvN series The Liar and His Lover.

SM Entertainment confirmed the news, saying, “Joy is currently working on a remake album, and we will announce the official schedule once it’s set.”
