Kim Rae Won, Lee Jong Suk, Jung Sang Hoon, Park Byung Eun, Lee Sang Hee, Jo Dal Hwan, and Cha Eun Woo have officially joined the production of Decibel (working title).
Decibel is a new action movie that covers a series of events for a quarter of a day. In the middle of the city, terrorist plants a special bomb that reacts to sound to target a formal Navy officer.
Kim Rae Won plays the Navy Commander for the project. Throughout the film, he will be struggling to prevent the sound-activated bomb from going off in the middle of the city. Moreover, he will be filling up the screen with his overwhelming yet intense charisma.
Lee Jong Suk will turn into the Navy Lieutenant. He has gone through many ups and downs as a member of a submarine. With Kim Rae Won as his partner, the two will showcase an impressive acting ensemble as they delve into the truth behind the incident.
In addition, Jung Sang Hoon plays a reporter who works hard to stop the terror. By portraying a military-loving reporter, he will be presenting the navy spirit as much as all the other soldiers.
On the other hand, Park Byung Eun becomes chief of the Defense Security Support Command. And Lee Sang Hee plays the wife of the commander and Senior Chief of Petty Officer who works in the EOD division.
Furthermore, Jo Dal Hwan will play Senior Chief of Petty Officer, who is also the mood-maker of the submarine. However, he is the most mysterious character who experiences an event of a lifetime. Lastly, Cha Eun Woo will make his big-screen debut as a Sonar Technician of the Navy. He will be in charge of sniffing out the bomb with his keen sense of hearing.
Decibel is the third terror action film directed by Hwang In Ho, following Spellbound and Monster. With the help of experts in submarines and bombs, the film will gift the viewers with realistic portrayals of a massive attack in the city.
