Dreamcatcher will partner with the production company founded by producer Han Dong Chul for their first-ever reality show.
According to Edaily, Dreamcatcher will work with Funky Studio, led by producer Han Dong Chul, to produce their first reality show. The filming will begin later this month, and the show will be released as web content. A9 Media will co-produce the upcoming reality show.
Dreamcatcher is a 7-member group that debuted in 2017. They have been strengthening their position at home and abroad by consistently showcasing music and performances that combine metal sounds and solid storytelling.
Earlier this year, they dropped a new mini-album, Dystopia: Road to Utopia, and sold more than 100,000 copies. Then on March 26th and 27th, the group hosted online concerts and attracted about 20,000 audiences, proving their power.
Han Dong Chul is a “star PD” who led several popular programs such as Produce 101, Show Me The Money, Unpretty Rap Star, and Sixteen. In 2017, he settled in YG Entertainment and produced MIXNINE and YG Treasure Box. Recently, he parted ways with the label and launched his own production company Funky Studio. Currently, he is working on a new girl group audition show with MBC.
Dreamcatcher is a rising star in the music industry, and Han Dong Chul is an experienced producer. Naturally, attention focuses on what the two will show as a team.
