ITZY will be releasing a song for their fans, “MIDZY,” to the world on March 20th.
JYP entertainment surprised fans on the midnight of the 14th by uploading a poster for the fan-song “MIDZY” through its official SNS channels. It seems as if this is ITZY’s sweet gift for � White Day (T/N: White Day is on March 14th, when people give out gifts, mainly sweets, to show affection to others). The group will be greeting fans with the worldwide fan song “MIDZY” on the 20th of March, at 6 p.m. KST.
The new song has the same name as ITZY’s official fandom name MIDZY, especially adding the sincerity of the five members. As the song talks of their love and the message that “the reason why the team exists is all thanks to the strong faith of the fans,” it beautifully illustrates the relationship between ITZY and MIDZY.
To also thank the great love of global fans, they also put their heart and soul into releasing an English version of “MIDZY” as well. The song is more so special as it has been told that it will be first released at the “FAN PARTY LIVE” which will be hosted at 4 p.m. KST on the same day. Being the official fan-meeting for MIDZYs, it is expected to air live on Naver’s V LIVE.
