Blackpink’s Jisoo has been chosen as the global ambassador for both Dior Fashion and Dior Beauty.
On March 5, Dior made a surprise announcement that excited the Blinks everywhere. According to their Instagram post, Dior officially named Jisoo “the new Dior global ambassador for both Fashion and Beauty.”
“Jisoo embodies with her singular audacity the House’s modernity and the passionate creativity of Maria Grazia Chiuri, who was inspired by the Korean singer for her Dior Fall 2021 collection,” stated Dior. “Jisoo will also perfectly incarnate the empowering makeup created by Peter Philips (Dior makeup creative and image director).”
In December 2019, Jisoo became a local ambassador for Dior’s cosmetics brand Dior Beauty. Since then, she became a global ambassador for Dior Beauty and recently began representing Dior Fashion within South Korea. But starting this year, this “beauty icon” idol will be the new face of Dior globally.
